We facilitate mobile mentoring and training services at affordable rates.

Drawing on our many years of successful service to the New Zealand registered charity sector through the Accounting for Charities Trust, we have created Community Trainers & Mentors to service the explicit finance & governance needs of not-for-profit organisations and groups who do not have a registered charity status.

Our work takes us across the Lower North Island, Auckland and Hamilton regions, where we facilitate our highly customised programmes to meet your specific requirements. We do this in either workshop or one-on-one scenarios, or a combination of the two.

Virtual Treasurer.

Many groups struggle getting a treasurer, or there are times where the treasurer is away on leave. Let us take care of this important treasurer function for you and outsource to Community Trainers & Mentors – we can take care of the accounting/payroll and produce treasurer reports for the Committee/Board.

  • Health check of your accounting systems/internal controls – we can review your systems on-site and provide ongoing training and support to increase your efficiency and compliance.
  • ​Fundraising assistance  – including application report writing, and liaison with funding providers.
  • ​​Workshop facilitation – our team have brought their experience from Accounting for Charities Trust, and we have a proven track record of running successful and beneficial workshops for community organisations.
